The T3 series is a new standard in learning for the teachers of South Carolina. This series is designed to facilitate learning and recertification through a new medium of delivery, the computer and CD-ROM. T3 Political Science for the Middle Grades is the first course in the series. The course creates a learning environment for teachers to understand the basic components of political science and to develop a working knowledge of computer applications appropriate to the learning. Teachers will explore five sessions: What and Why Is Government? Emergence of Government, Forms of Government, Role of the Citizen, and Evolutionary and Revolutionary Change. These topics will expand the user's political science knowledge base. This CD-ROM is based on the South Carolina Social Studies Curriculum Standards for middle school; however, it is applicable to all grades.
